Wow! What a Monday

I cannot express our appreciation for the people God continues to send to bless Saving Hope Charities.

I started my day at CATO picking up our first box of clothes being given to the women who will live at Saving Hope Charities; they were also generous with a financial donation. Thank you, Brittaney Cox for your heart and commitment to our ministry!

As our volunteers were working hard yesterday to get rooms finished, beds made, and finishing touches put on the room our families will reside in, we had several visitors yesterday who just stopped by to bless us.

We received a large food donation from FCBC, who held a food drive this past Sunday in the cold, cold temperatures, collecting food from people extending across four states! We couldn’t be more thankful for their donation to the center. Thank you Minde & Ed Ramos for your hard work!

We continue to wrap presents this week to raise money, and boy have people been generous. I cannot even begin to name all those who allowed us the opportunity to wrap their gifts for donations, but we want to say thank you so very much.

Our mailbox is full of kinds words, blessings, and warm regards as we enter this Christmas season. I have had the privilege to speak at Caneyville Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and Leitchfield First Baptist Church this month, and present the vision of Saving Hope Charities. I will continue to do so as the opportunities arise. If you would like to schedule a time to have me (Misty Thomas) come and share our vision with your group, club, church, or civic organization please feel free to call my cell phone any time. We are planning our first families to move into the facility in January. We covet your prayers, and ask that you consider financially supporting our staffing needs. You can mail your donations to: 233 Commerce Drive, Leitchfield, KY 42754, or make a donation through our donate button on our website.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!
