Picking Up Speed

We just cannot thank the community enough for how they are coming together and supporting Saving Hope Charities! As many of you know we are fundraising to Unlock The Doors to our first families! After we kicked off this campaign at our ribbon cutting on Nov. 11th, we are starting to pick up speed with our efforts. As I continue to meet with groups of people to share the vision of the facility, the partnerships are beginning to strengthen, and for that I am so grateful!

Due to the holiday, and a sick husband, I am behind on posting some of our donations!

Look at these goodies our families will receive from Twin Lakes Dental as they move into the facility! These Oral B toothbrushes are crazy expensive, and we cannot thank Ashley Hodge, and Dr. Linel Holwager enough for their dedication to see that our families receive great products to help with their dental care. The best part, I hadn’t even got to call them yet to see if they would be interested in helping us. They came to me after hearing about us; I love their passion!

The same happened with CATO…Brittaney Cox, General Manager, heard about our mission and came looking for ways to help us raise funds to get the doors open! She opened her store to us on Saturday and we wrapped presents all day, and sold raffle tickets for a gift basket she donated. She has gone above and beyond for us.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Linda Borland, Hamilton-Ryker, for securing a donation to the facility for us! And to Donna VanMeter and family for donating of your specialty to our women & children. They will benefit greatly from all that you and your family bring to the table!

Just look at this train table! Thank you to Lori Aldridge for your generous donations to us. Our children will enjoy this for hours.

We have just about every physical item we need to open, but we are in need of chest-of-drawers, if you have something you would like to donate we would be happy to see if it's a fit for the center. Our only other need at this time is financial resources to help staff the facility.

I am receiving calls every day from families, businesses, civic groups and churches who are catching the vision and wanting to hear more about us, or how to give to the center. Please let me know if your group would like to hear more about what Saving Hope Charities is, how we operate, and how you can partner with us. We are here to change the community, and we need partnerships to help us be successful in this vision.

With your help, we will be opening the doors to our first families January 2017! #UnlockTheDoors
